Who We Are
Much of my family and friend's have asked me why I moved to Costa Rica. "...it's never been a monetary dream." I vacationed here many times over 20 year's. I love this land. I prepared my self in the states for many years to come here one day and live my dream. This is to share what I have seen and felt in Costa Rica. It is a feeling I wish to share with you. Joy and facination. When I arrived here I had two friend's and spoke about 30 words in spanish. The day I met my wife here I told her at the end of the date, " I think I said all the word's I know in spanish to you today". We used google translator a lot that day. What a blessing she has been in my life. You'll see it when you meet her. I believe that because my dream is to share, it will succeed. Since opening our doors in 2023 we have strove for exceptional service and cherished memories for you. Our commitment to you and Costa Rica is to bring you together. My wife and I have traveled the Nicoya Peninsula from top to bottom to find and cultivate a few exceptional loctions. We chose the southern tip of the Peninsula as our home. My family and I offer incomparable services in our hand made tours. We truley want you to fall in love with Costa Rica. Being a small family owned and run company allows a rare opportunity for both of us. The experiences in joy and pleasure you have here in Costa Rica are ones we share with you. CUSTOMER SERVICE CALL
This is one of our popular services available. While you are here, just call us. It’s made a big difference for many of our customers, and is provided with the highest level of concern and care. With this service, we ensure all details are simple, seamless and handled in a timely manner. Whenever you work with my family and I, you can trust that you’re in great hands. GUIDED WATERFALL TOURS
This is the fun stuff. We offer two tours a day to a secluded beautiful and calm waterfall. We start the tour in a 4x4 truck. We need it to cross the rivers multiple times. We fallow what some say is a road through the jungle that offers many opportunity to witness and photo a variety of wild life along the way. Once we park and start the short 10 minute hike along the river you will feel you have entered a jungle paradise. There will be a multitude of butterflies, birds and sometimes monkeys to see. Keep your eyes and ears open. Soon we arrive at the waterfall. Pick your spot to rest and leave the work to us. We prepare your pre chosen meal for you while you enjoy the natural pool and cascading double waterfall. For the adventurous, we can depart once you are relaxed and prepared. We return and wait for you at the vehicle. This is an option that many people utilize. It provides a private and intamate experience of the jungle. You will not be dissapointed.
BEACH CAMPING
Many people choose this option. It is a great way to experience more of Costa Ricas beaches. Plus the stars at night are spectacular ! We provide everything needed to enjoy your time on the beach. We deliver and retrieve everything. Just tell us how many days and choose from of a 3, 4 or 6 man tent depending on group size. All the sleeping gear you will need. Foam matress beds, pillows and sheets. A few beach toys, snorkels, masks, fin's, kayaks and life vest's. Ice chests and a hammock too. If you choose a beach with out a cafe we can provide a complete kitcen including a sink! Pots, pans, cookware, cutting board and table, oil, salt and pepper all included. We provide the campfire wood too! There are several near by beaches to choose from. They include Playa Pajaros, Mangos, Gigante, Blanca, Tambor and Pachote. Each of these beaches has its own unique character and pro's. We can help you choose the right one for you according to your desires and needs.
SUNRISE BREAKFAST
This service is for those who want a recharge of the soul. I personaly love this package. We depart from Rio Grande at 4:35 am and arrive at Playa Mango. A short 10 minute drive. It has a great east facing beach that provides a gorgeous sunrise. When we get there it is still dark and the stars are in the sky. What comes next is trully a gift. The colors in the sky change from black and blue dotted with stars into pink, red and orange and light blue. It is a dramatic change ocurring over 20 minutes. While you relax and take it in, we are preparing breakfast for you that is a choice of french toast and local fresh fruit or gallo pinto with scrambled eggs and toast or home made yogurt with nuts and/or honey and fresh fruit. All breakasts come with coffee or tea that is served propmtly on arrival. The sunrises here are best November through May. June through October is hit and miss depending on cloud cover.
BIOLUMINESCENSE SWIM
This is a magical trip. You will love this experience. We start off at dusk from a beach two miles from our cabinas. We prepare dinner for you there. We then relax and become comfortable with our surroundings. At that point we venture out into the water for a very short trip. Some opt to swim the distance. We provide you with everything needed. Kayaks, life jackets, masks, snorkels and flippers. What comes next is what has been described as "swimming with the stars". If kayaks are not your thing, let us know and we can arange for a boat. We recommend bringing a camera with good low light/night picture or video capability. If it is water proof even beter. You will want photo's of this. When you are all satisfied we will return to shore. We provide you with a fresh water rinse to wash off with. Please bring your own towels.
CABINA CAPULLO
For those of you who would like to stay a few days or even long term we offer a two bedroom cabina. They come equipped with either an air conditioning unit or fans. Both have screened windows. The first floor has an open design with relaxing and listening to the jungle in mind. Complete with wifi, two hammocks and a large bathroom with a double shower. The bedrooms are on the second floor and have a generous balcony connecting them. This provides a great view of the mountain range to the west for watching the sunsets. The exterior was built to have a rustic, classic Costarican cabin feel with the inside of the rooms finished in a standard drywall and paint. The beds frames are hand made locally from wood and have 10 inch queen memory foam matress' with your comfort in mind. We brought these here new from the states. You can not get them anywhere here. The cabina comes with free use of the 4 kayaks and life vests and 4 bicycles when staying 2 or more days. You can use them to explore Rio Grande, go to one of our local resturants, make a run to the market or ride them to one of our near by beaches. You also have access to all the fruit and vegtables in the garden and property. Cut your self some flowers and pick some bananas, mango's or papaya too. Every morning we will be serving complimentary coffee, tea and toast with local fresh fruit to start your day. Our goal is your comfort and enjoyment. Just call us to have all your questions answerd.
WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU
Working for you
We offer 4 different tour experiences and a two bedroom cabina to offer you. First off, one of my favorites.
We have a personalized tour to a secluded waterfall with an easy 10 minute hike through the jungle along the riverbed. This offers many opportunities to see Costa Ricas wild life. Like Howler and Capucian monkeys, numerous birds and butterflies. Tour includes drinks and a meal consisting of sandwiches or barbeque and local fresh fruit. Some of which will be harvested from our garden.
We also offer a sunrise breakfast on the beach as well. This is a fabulous way to start a day here. We start with stars in the sky and finish when the sun has risen. The color changes are spectacular. We highley recommend it. We will serve coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Along with a traditional Costa Rican breakfast of gallo pinto, maduro, toast and eggs or French toast and fresh fruit.
The next tour we offer is the world famous Bioluminesense. We are located in one of the 2 best locations in Costa Rica for it. It really is magical. We start at dusk with dinner on the beach. Then we fit you with all the information and gear needed to get in the water and experience "starts in the ocean".
Last we offer Camping on the Beach. This is a great way to experience more of Costa Ricas beaches. We provide you with everthing needed. Tents, beds, sheets and pillows. A few beach toys, kayaks with life vests and snorkel gear. Most beaches here have cafe's or "sodas" which are mini restruants. Bathrooms included. Upon request we can provide you with a " camp kitchen" if you book the gear for a couple nights stay. Includes fry pans, pots, knives, cutting boards, forks and spoons. Spatulas, mixing bowl and a table for preperation.
Our two story two bedroom cabina is nestled between two fruit tree orchards. To the south are the mango trees and to the north and west are the guayaba trees. Both are borderd by plantain banana trees. To the east, across the street is our local river. This provides us some privacy and tranquility which then host's many of our jungle animals. You will witness many monkeys passing through the trees, crane's hunting the fish, butterflies and humming birds feeding on flower nectar, even aguanas here.
